Kelly Sumner is a teacher in Thornton, Colorado and a member of ACFW and the Christian Writers Guild. She is an active member in her critique group through His Writers and enjoys writing both fiction and non-fiction. At seven-teen she gave birth to a boy whom she arranged an adoption for. Being adopted herself as a baby, she understood the adoption process.
As a mother of a special needs child, Kelly, began her writing career as an adult when she wrote and published her first essay Broken Dreams Made Whole in Apraxia Now Magazine. Writing became her new outlet and through magazine articles and novels she is hoping to make a name for herself.
