“The Lord will keep you from all harm—
he will watch over your life;
the Lord will watch over your coming and going
both now and forevermore.”
Psalms 121 :7-8(NIV)
It’s easy to trust God when life is going good. When everything runs smoothly and we don’t have to worry about anything, but what about when it doesn’t. God doesn’t promise us that once we become Christians our lives will be smooth sailing, quite the opposite actually. How do we endure suffering, troubles and hardships? Do we trust God or do we pack our bags and say I’m outta here? We will fail sometimes, let’s face it, we are not perfect beings and we live in a fallen world. God doesn’t leave us empty handed, He gives us tools to use every day, so that even when we fail He is right there to scoop us up again. Trust Him and read His Word.
“Lord, thank you for showing us that even in our failures You are there. Thank you for making us who we are in You. Guide us and give us wisdom.” Amen
The Ice-Diamond Lady,
“But those who hope in the Lord
will renew their strength.
They will soar on wings like eagles;
they will run and not grow weary,
they will walk and not be faint.”
Isaiah 40:31 (NIV)
I heard a story on the news recently about a young man who was devastated when he had to relinquish his new born daughter to authorities in Utah. His girlfriend had given birth to a healthy baby girl and he had spent every waking moment with the child. His girlfriend’s parents were pressuring her to relinquish the child for adoption to some friends of theirs. However, the biological father of the child wanted to keep her very badly and had lots of family and friend support. Unknown to him, the mother had signed the adoption papers and the child by Utah law, was now no longer his. As many of you know, I am very much for adoption, but in cases like this, I’m appalled that the father did not have any rights to the child. I truly am praying for him and his family as they take on the legal system in Utah. Fathers have rights too, and I hope that this case will not be swept under the rug.
“Lord, I pray for this young man and his family. Taking on the court system can seem like a David and Goliath moment, but with You all things are possible. I also pray for the little girl. I hope one day she learns about how much her daddy loved her. Please give them hope Father and help them find a way through this.” Amen
God will right all wrongs.
The Ice-Diamond Lady,
Writers use various methods for organizing projects. Here is one article we wanted to share with our readers.
I consider myself a born writer, and I’ve been lucky to be published by mainstream media since I was a teenager. The books, the articles, and the speeches I write are good because I get enthused about topics, do thorough research, ask hard questions and have a clear focus on my intended reader. Even more important: I’m organized. And that doesn’t come easy. Learn more.

“Now faith is confidence in what we hope for and assurance
About what we do not see.”
In life it’s easy to get discouraged by things and to lose hope. Just as the sun comes up faithfully each day, so too are God’s words to us. Endure and persevere in our relationship to Jesus. Nothing else matters, not adoption, infertility, weight loss. God’s wisdom is made visible in Jesus. When we trust that God is smarter and wiser than us and acknowledge His faithfulness, we begin to see the unseen. Faith isn’t faith sometimes unless it’s all your holding on it.
“Thank you Lord, for your steadfast endurance. Help me to choose obedience to You in hardships and to trust Your Wisdom Father. I know we are only as durable as the thing we love the most, Lord it is my prayer that You are what I love most.” Amen
God’s Wisdom is supremely seen in Jesus.
There are two types of writers: seat of the pantsers and outliners.
Mention the word outline in a room full of writers, and you’re sure to ignite a firestorm of passionate debate. Writers either love outlines, or they hate them. We either find them liberating, or we can’t stand how confining they are.
My experience has been that more often than not, those who swear they dislike outlines are thinking of them in the wrong ways. Outlines are not meant to trap you into preset ideas or sap your creativity before you start the first draft. Outlines are also definitely not meant to be lifeless Roman-numeral lists. Learn more.
