Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or terrified because of them, for the LORD your God goes with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you.”

Deuteronomy 31:6

Wake Up America

What Every Parent or Expectant Parent Should Know

You may think this is an odd topic when discussing adoption. However, every parent wants and has a responsibility to protect their children, whether adopted or natural born. I just finished a book that I think should be a “must read” for all parents and perspective parents, especially to those who are of the Christian or Jewish faiths.

The book I have just finished reading is called The Harbinger. It is written in a narrative style and feels much like a novel. I’m sure some literary license has been taken, but the facts surrounding 9/11 and the aftermath are real.

Jonathan Cahn, a Messianic Jewish believer and rabbi, makes a strong case that the events of 9/11 was a wakeup call to America from God.

The American attitude, especially from its leaders, has been one of arrogance and self-reliance. We’ve not turned back to God, but have stubbornly gone our own way since that fateful day.

Jonathan Cahn takes the prophecy of Israel’s destruction about three thousand years ago and shows how leaders from this nation unwittingly have spoken those same words over our country. The similarity of Israel’s ancient events to ours is eerie and telling, and it is a warning that comes with wisdom for the future to all who will listen.

It will blow your mind.

This book is on the New York Times best-seller list and can be found in Christian books stores or at this link.

A Diamond in the Rough,

For in the gospel a righteousness from God is revealed, a righteousness that is by faith from first to last, just as it is written: “The righteous will live by faith.”

Romans 1:17
